Speed limit for lorry to 7,5t: 80 km/h
Speed limit for lorry over
7,5t: 70 km/h
Usage of seat belts is obligatory
on front seats and back seats (if belts are
built in), usage of helmets on motorbykes
and scooters is obligatory.
Headlights with dipped beam
have to be switched during the whole day!!!
Alowed amount of alcohol:
0,5 ‰ for drivers of category A
and B vehicles,
0,0 ‰ for professional drivers of category
A and B vehicles and for drivers of category
C, D and E vehicles.
Vehicles with blue pulsating
lights have the right of way. Vehicle driving
on the left lane have to move left, vehicle
driving on the middle or right lane have
to move right on the road with two or more
lanes.
Blue pulsating lights and the short siren behind
you mean the driver must stop at the first
appopriate place.
Vehicles with pulsating blue
and red light indicate a group of vehicles
with the right of way. All vehicles have
to be stopped off lane. It is allowed to
continue driving when vehicle with blue and
green light has passed.
Penalties
Unused seat belt or helmet: 120€
Driving over speed limit:
In town to 10km/h: 80€
- from 11 to 20km/h: 250€
- from 21 to 30km/h: 500€
- more than 30km/h: minimum 1000€
(decision of judge)
- more than 50km/h: minimum 1000€
and cessation of validity of driving licence
Out of town to 20km/h:
60€
- from 21 to 30km/h: 120€
- from 31 to 40km/h: 240€
- more than 40km/h: minimum 380€
(decision of judge)
Alcohol:
- from ‰ to ‰ (for professional drivers
of category A and B vehicles and for drivers
of category C, D and E) : 150€
- from 0,51‰ to 0,80‰ : 400€
- from 0,81‰ to 1,10‰ : 500€
- over 1,11‰: minimum 800/950€(decision
of judge)
- over 1,5‰: minimum 950€
and cessation of validity of driving licence
Parking in town centers is mostly payable (ticket
machine or ticket bought in kiosk) on working days
from 7 to 18 hours. Blue lines mark time limited
parking.
